New in Traben-Trarbach: a bicycle museum (Region 2)
Thousands of tourists explore the Mosel region by bike. This is the reason for this new museum. About 20 different kinds of bikes are to be seen. Like a “Velociped” from 1868, which was the first vehicle which was driven by a pedal up till the most ultramodern type of bicycles from this century. You can also see a "working" bicycle, which was still used in the 60-ies. Only the saddle weights more than the complete ultramodern bikes from this age made of carbon. Another theme that has got their attention: Women and bicycles.
Open:
Daily (except on Mondays) from 10.00 till 17.00 o'clock in the months April till October.
